This also reflects our social responsibility by keeping our environmental footprint as small as possible.
While the outdoor industry is growing, we stay true to our purpose in developing fewer and long-lasting products. This connects back to our legacy of Roald Amundsen where the focus was to develop products that can accompany you on journeys for many years.
Our products are designed with the intent to make a difference, both for our customers and for our planet. The jacket or sweater you invest in, is meant to be a long-term investment. By our Repair & Warranty system, we aim to prolong the lifetime of our products together with you to reduce the need of additional resources.
WARRANTY
All products – used and unused –from Amundsen Sports comes with a 5-year warranty. The warranty is only valid upon presentation of a receipt and for items that have been treated in accordance with our recommended guidelines for use and maintenance.
We are aware that occasional manufacturing defects may occur. Should you be unlucky enough to receive a product with manufacturing and/or material defects, we will repair your product free of charge.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Through high-quality material usage, technology, and craftsmanship, we ensure that your timeless and versatile products last for generations. Regardless of how gently the product is used or how well the item is maintained, it will eventually begin to show signs of aging and wear.
Normal wear and tear, user error, pilling, improper washing, and accidents are not covered by the warranty. However, this does not mean that the product must be discarded. We hope you will repair your product and contribute to our commitment to the production, consumption, and ownership of products. We take responsibility for our products throughout their lifecycle. REPAIRS
We encourage all our customers to repair their items, regardless of whether they are covered by warranty. Therefore, we offer a fixed repair cost of 200 NOK per damage point, regardless of the extent of the damage if it is not covered by warranty. Shipping costs are additional.
Offer available only to customers in Norway. If you are a customer from outside Norway, please contact our customer service (here) and we will help arrange a repair for you.
HOW DO I SEND IN A REPAIR?
- Prepare the product for repair.
- Pack your cleaned item.
- Drop it at your nearest postage point.
- Use the QR code you received when completing the registration.
- You will receive an email from Posten once your package is on its way back to you as soon as the repair is completed.
