THE HUNTSMAN CAPSULE
For generations, the Norwegian autumn has been defined by the hunt and the harvest - a time to stock up and prepare for the cold, dark, winter months. This period of heightened connection with nature demands garments as timeless as the land itself.
Inspired by the iconic woolen fabrics of the Austrian Alps, this collection serves as a dependable, timeless, and stylish wardrobe for town and country - made to last for generations.
GARMENT CARE
Merino wool’s overall natural stain and soil resistance is significantly better than that of cotton or synthetic fibres. It has a natural protective layer that is bonded to the surface, and the overlapping scales are slow to absorb liquids and thus allow spills to be wiped off before permanent staining occurs. When stored, it should be given space to rest between wears to keep the shape and remain fresh.

Austria’s oldest Loden factory, Leichtfried (EST.1884)
Loden, a specific wool variety woven in Tyrol, Austria, is uniquely characterized by its water resistance. Its manufacturing process ensures that water droplets bead and run off its exterior, while maintaining a soft, felt-like feel.
These specific technical characteristics answered the needs of shepherds and farmers living in the Alps, who routinely faced extreme conditions throughout the winter. Our specific Loden, by Austria's oldest loden maker, Leichtfried (est. 1884), is of the most durable and weather-resistant quality.
