Stretch waterproof – Tested in Antarctica.
The Amundsen Peak Anorak is our first anorak, which we have been perfecting over several years. It was first made for our Antarctic Expedition in 2011, and received it’s name as it protected us during the first ascent of Amundsen Peak.
The anorak is ideal for ski touring and expeditions small and big. The combination of stretch, waterproof and breathing capabilities ensures a combo of full protection combined with the comfort you need.
This anorak is a part of “The 3-Part Formula” which is a new and different concept for dressing up for the peak ride, skiing or mountain trip. 3-Part is an integrated system of anoraks / jackets, knickerbockers and gaiters. The concept came as a direct result of the entrepreneurs own expedition to Antarctica in 2011, where the clothes and the concept were tested in their proper element. The 3-Part Formula adapts to all weather conditions and provides extreme flexibility. This is simply an evolution of traditional clothes.

Purchased a size Large from LD Mountain centre in the UK. I'm 1.82m tall 106cm Chest.
POSITIVE POINTS - Love the feel and suppleness of the fabric. I've had C Change garments before and really rate the material. Great hood works with or without a helmet. Good sleeve length with easy to use cuffs. Nice length that covers the lower back well and works with a climbing harness. Its looks awesome on and feels really good to move in. The small mesh pocket in the chest pocket with headphone/radio port is a nice touch.
NEGATIVE POINTS - Hood brim is too soft unless wearing a helmet as it flops about in the wind - Needs wire or similar. The cordlocks on the hood are tiny and impossible to use when wearing winter gloves. The forearm pocket is a great size but would be better on the upper arm as it is more stable and is less likely to get in the way when carrying wallet nutty bars etc.
CONSIDER - Make the small mesh pocket a bit bigger so it will fit modern smartphones. Full zips on both sides so you can lift up the front of the jacket for lots of air when skinning uphill - Put some poppers on the ends of the chest pocket to hold the front up - see photo
All the above is just my humble opinion for what it's worth :)

Perfect- the word is an understatement. While I was expecting more stretch in the waist, I wore it for a few minutes with the matching Desert Anorak and was in love. The fit is perfect- and I am a Brother with a larger backside. Stretch is in everywhere below the belt line. The quality is exquisite and was the very first thing I noticed. The measurements recommended on the website- when followed- will serve you well. I know that’s hard to believe when you’re gunshy about trusting size charts, but trust it. Don’t go large or small or you’ll regret it. It worked for me, just right, and it’s warm and waterproof. I was expecting delivery from Norway (I was just in Oslo 18 months ago and I’m surprised I never saw this brand) two days later but got them today. I am a believer and will never buy another brand.

Perfect detailing, highly capable jacket. I wore this hiking in the alps for 3 days and was comfortable in all conditions.

I really like this jacket.
The material is comfortable and performs well for downhill skiing with good breathability and wind-proofness.
The chin guard is super comfy and the fit generally is really good.
The peak anorak looks really smart and the faded navy is a great colour.
The under arm ventilation on the left side is let down by only having zip sliders at the ends - it would really benefit from having a third slider so that its possible to have a section ventilated in the middle without having to have half your arm or all of your flank exposed to ventilate your pit.

Used it over hardangervidda national park in Norway. Must say it is the best jacket I’ve ever used when hiking for several days. Dried quickly and was really light and soundless. It looks good on so that’s a bonus.
