Description

The wool in this sweater is harvested from free-ranging sheep living the high-life up in the Norwegian mountains of Hallingdal from June to September. After the harvest, it respectfully spun and knitted in Italy. The tough fibers from the Norwegian sheep are developed to withstand the rugged climate which gives this sweater just the right weight and protection for us enjoying the same rugged territory. Some claim it itches a bit more than our soft merino wool styles but real adventurers won’t mind.
Inspired by Roald Amundsen and other heroes from the golden age of exploration, we have applied a chest pocket in waxed cotton – the kind of convenient feature the old explorers would sew themselves while in camp.
Celine Endresen –
Probably my favorite knitted sweater ever! This looks SO good, and it keeps you warm during autumn and in those cold winter days. You can feel it’s high quality and it does not itch! 10/10 would recommend.
