Back on the ’93 Oslo Circuit

Field Adventures

In 1993, the UCI Road World Championships put Oslo on cycling’s world stage. Three decades later we traced that same course with a man who knows every turn—Dag Otto Lauritzen.

Tour de France stage winner. Former pro with Team 7-Eleven. And back then a home-crowd favorite on Norwegian soil. Now, 30 years after hanging up the pro wheels, he’s still in love with cycling. Nearing 70, the freedom he feels in the saddle is the same as when he rode as a kid.  From city streets to lung-burning climbs we rode through history—Oslo as our backdrop, grit and glory in the air.
