A Note from the Cabin

August 1, 2025

I’m writing this from a small cabin by the sea, where the evenings stretch almost endlessly and the horizon never seems to end. Most mornings begin the same way — with a quiet coffee in my old wooden boat, drifting just far enough from shore that the world feels perfectly still.

There’s something about summer that feels different from all the rest — a time when days blur into nights, and the world opens up with possibility. While I’ve been rooted here by the coast, others are out roaming far and wide — chasing dusty roads, wild horizons, and the kind of adventures that can’t be planned. Different paths, same spirit of exploration.

Wherever this summer finds you — whether on mountain trails, in cold northern waters, or wandering far from home — I hope you follow that pull toward the wild.

Here’s to morning coffee afloat, endless light, and the journeys that keep us alive.

From the cabin,
Jørgen
